TechBetan is a small web design & IT agency in New York. We love nothing more than helping individuals and businesses to flourish by building innovative and creative websites. Our IT Support services include support for software applications, computer management & maintenance support, LAN/WAN network design & support for small to medium sized businesses & variety of repair services including but not limited to computers, phones and tablets.
We are a team of proud young innovative enthusiasts wanting to be a part of ever changing technological world and lead the rest from front. The word “TECHBETAN” came about from a combination of two words. TECH (as in TECHnology) + BETAN (while Betan Came from the word tiBETAN). We are very proud of our tibetan ethnical background.

Derek Williams – Founder
Originally from a networking background, I progressed into creative roles while still being heavily involved in IT projects. I find myself at TechBetan looking forward to many exciting projects. If I’ve learnt anything so far, it’s that people and friendships are what’s important, not possessions. You will find me chasing around cameras, making music or enjoying a “quiet” discussion amongst friends after hours.
Diana Oconnel – Graphic designer
Professionally being able to work as a surgical nurse, I find myself very pleased with what I do. Even before completing my grad school in nursing, I realised my zest for graphic design. I’ve been part of TechBetan for about 4 years now. In my spare time, I like to shoot landscapes and candid portraits. I’m currently learning video editing and studio lighting, which is lots of fun! I specialize in logo designs and am primarily responsible for advertisements.
Scott Kelby – Web Developer
Technicality in any subject can be compared to the position of football on a game day. Place the players in the wrong position and you can end up losing the game. The same could be said for IT projects. You miss a minor detail and you can be hunting around for hours. I’ve been part of the team since 2008 and the journey so far has been great. I have high hopes for our next chapter as TechBetan. If you are a small business, you will often see me in my gears.
